There seems to be so much confusion in internet marketing about creating and spinning articles, and even where to submit and promote them.  I always think that as long as you get the content out there, and you link back to your websites you are making progress.

I have read a lot of article spinner reviews that really don’t approve of their use.  I even recently had Ezinearticles simply delete four of my articles about content spinners with no explanation at all. Thankfully, there are tons of other article directories that will allow me to submit them without “losing my articles” in the process.

I have tried and tested many different article spinning software programs, and most have left me truly frustrated and disappointed.  The best article spinner software is definitely The Best Spinner.  I have used it for several months to create hundreds of articles, and I have made back to back sales, and increased my Alexa ranking, backlinks, and Pagerank.

Another good thing that is often discouraged in online marketing is PLR articles.  I had no idea that you could get access to a whole database with PLR Articles, spin them, and submit them everywhere like other article directories, mini websites, and they can be used for content for more blogs and websites.  Point them back to your product, opt in page, website, and you have a winning formula for sales.

As an internet marketer, it’s important to be able to write quality content quickly.  You don’t want every article to sound like a sales pitch, and you really don’t want to submit boring content either.

It’s not easy to find a balance either, but when you do, you are hitting your stride.  I once read about an internet marketer who makes over $100,000 a year by simply submitting long articles to Ezinearticles everyday.  She starts her day when her kids leave for school, and she writes articles until they return home.  I am sure she takes breaks, especially for coffee (every online marketers best friend!).  She says that her articles are long, between 600 - 700 words in length.  She never has a problem getting them approved, and she has platinum status with Ezinearticles, so she probably gets approved fairly quickly.  She promotes one website, with no list.

This story blew me away.  It’s a good example of discipline, and writing quality articles to make sales.  There are ways to maximize this technique.  I was thinking about writing these articles, spinning them with a really good article spinner and submitting them to other directories like GoArticles, Articlesbase, Buzzle, and Article Dashboard.  Why not then use more versions of the article to make Squidoos, Hubpages, and other mini sites?

Finally, video marketing can be simplified with articles too.  Create a Powerpoint presentation with your article, and create a video with Camtasia, or your preferred video creator.

You can get a lot of mileage out of one article.  Consider using a PLR database for even more articles.  Even sending the spun article to the Unique Article Wizard to gain maximum exposure.  Develop a system and watch your sales start pouring in.

As an avid article marketer, I had all but given up on article spinning software.  They all have such great send ups, and their ad pages would promise the moon, only none of them could really deliver.   Some of them were fast, really fast, but the resulting articles would be unreadable garbage.  Some of them allowed you to go word for word choosing your own synonyms, but isn’t that the same thing as writing an article from scratch?!?

• An amazing article spinner will write a readable article as good as the original (or better!), and it will work quickly.

I was forced to learn to write articles to promote my website.  When I first started writing articles, I had no idea where to start or even how to tie in my website without feeling like a used car salesman.  I dreaded the feeling of being ridiculed for writing a silly article to advertise my first shopping website.  My first website was a mess.  I started out with good intentions wanting to make a huge coupon site with all kinds of products in the mix.  Little did I know that this was a really huge task for which I could never have enough hours in the day.

The thing was, I was working a full time job, looking after my family, and had little time to develop the site.  I tried to maintain it, and the whole traffic thing just kind of fell apart. This was back in 2003.  The website was great to look at with a lot of cute graphics, and a few coupons that I was able to update once or twice every few months, and I made a few sales.  My big problem was that I was not getting any traffic because I didn’t understand the importance of how to create backlinks, and how to start an article marketing plan.

I thought, wrongly for years that I would have to pay money to drive any real traffic  to my site.  I just didn’t have it.  I was barely getting by on my paycheck, as my significant other is an artistic type, and refuses to be tied down to a traditional 9 to 5, or any job that would otherwise interfere with their tv or nap time.  So, I learned quickly that if I wanted to keep the lights on, and food in the refrigerator, I would have to work full time, and learn to get traffic to my website in my spare time.

CPA Marketing on Article Websites - What to Do?!?

You can do CPA marketing on article websites.  You want to be sure that the offer allows for “Search”, and it’s helps to check with your affiliate manager to make sure which article sites you can submit your articles to for the particular offer.

One tip you want to keep in mind is to track your links.  Don’t make the mistake of blindly direct linking just to get it out there.  If you direct link, you are not knowing where your sales are coming from, the affiliate link is not attractive and may cause suspicion among your readers.  They might think that if they click on the link, they may get a virus.  Really, what looks better to a reader, “http://dflkhgdsghoiudfbu.43056.com, or http://www.fast-weight-loss-product.com”.  Give the reader an idea of what they will get when they click the link.

There are a few reasons to redirect your affiliate link.  Buy a domain, but remember not to use the product’s actual name as the domain name as this could cause a conflict with the advertiser.  I use .info domains for my CPA marketing.  They are less than $2 with GoDaddy, and as CPA offers get pulled you can interchange them with new offers.  It is really a great way to test what converts, and the .infos are really useful if you choose a good relevant domain name.

Another reason to buy a domain name is to track your visitors.  If you know where your traffic is coming from, you can stop scattering your energy and focus on the directories that are making you sales.  Once you have your domain name registered with GoDaddy, sign up with Hostgator, and change the name servers over.  Hostgator has an excellent tracking system, and you can host unlimited domains for only $7.95 a month.

Finally, write quality articles that your readers will understand and want to click through to your offer.  CPA marketing on article websites should be done the same way that you would with any other type of affiliate marketing.

Can article submitters really work the way you want them to?

Being an affiliate marketer who has had a website banned by Google, I have often asked myself the question, do article submitters really work?

They work if you are careful with them.  You don’t want to use an article submitter, and submit thousands of articles every day.  Google will shut you down.  I tried it, and it doesn’t work.  You will rank well for a few weeks, or even a few months, but that day will happen when you go to check your backlinks and find nothing there.  Not even a mention of your website ever being indexed.

I have found Google to be unforgiving too.  I have sent request forms several times to ask that they re-index my site, but these requests go virtually unanswered.  So, learn from my bad experience, and submit a safe number of articles at one time, and remember that you don’t have to do everything at once.  Create a schedule for yourself, and spend a day creating articles, another for submitting a certain amount, and so on.

Article submitters are software that you use to automatically send your articles out to article directories.  Remember software is just that, you have to use it responsibly, and gradually build your links, and gain exposure to your website.

Article submitters work when you use them to save time.  You want to only submit a reasonable amount of articles.  You don’t want to overdo it.  Take your time to create good content, rewrite it so that spun articles are useful and make sense, and submit your articles.  It pays off in backlinks, traffic, and sales.

Published Ezinearticles - How to Increase Traffic To Your Articles

I have published a ton of Ezinearticles, and I get a good amount of traffic, but we all know that more traffic means more sales.  Let me share a secret with you.

Have you thought about rewriting your articles, and in addition to adding your primary link to your product, add another link to the original article over at Ezinearticles.

Try creating backlinks for your Ezinearticles to get them to rank higher in the search engines.  It works.  Your wallet will thank you.

I have two ways that I have learned to get boatloads of traffic, and they both work.  The first thing that I do is get the article published at Ezinearticles.  It generally takes up to 7 days, oftentimes sooner.

If you don’t have money to spend - Follow This Step:

Once your article is published, take the article and submit it to the Free Traffic System.   It’s free, just sign up, and start submitting your articles.  They will distribute them for free.  If you have a blog that you need content for, just add it, and they will give you even more backlinks.  It’s a pretty sweet deal.  I have used the service, and I highly recommend it.

If you have a little extra money (about $67 per month)- Follow This Step:

Sign up for the Unique Article Wizard.   Once there sign in to submit articles.  Create a project, it’s generally your website name.  Then copy and paste your article in.  The step-by-step wizard will automatically divide your paragraphs up, and walk you through creating two rewrites for each paragraph.  It’s really easy.  Once you have completed the process, the Unique Article Wizard will start to distribute your articles to hundreds of blogs and directories across the Internet.  This is so cool, and I have been a customer for several months now.

Writing Articles to Generate Free Traffic

Writing articles to generate free traffic is a really good idea when you have a new website.  It is also a good idea when you have limited funds for marketing your website online.  The benefits of writing articles include backlinks to your website, exposure for your products or services, and free traffic.

You will want to create an article with at least 300 - 500 words, and focus your article on one central topic.  There are many article directories, but the main one that you should try and submit to would be Ezinearticles.  They have real editors that review articles, and the search engines consider Ezinearticles to be an authority site.

Remember to do your keyword research first, gather your keywords, and create one article per keyword.  In the resource box, don’t sell yourself, sell your product.  Create links that curious readers will want to click on.  The better your clickthrough rate, the more sales you are apt to generate.

Try them all and see which ones rank best for you.  Link to your Squidoos, Hubpages, and other Web 2.0 properties.  Also link to your main website.  It is really best to write several versions of your articles, and go for original content.  If you want to use PLR, make it yours.  I strongly advise against using PLR to submit to the article directories above with the exception of GoArticles.  Many article directories don’t allow it, and you could get banned.  PLR can be a waste of time if you don’t use your own originality to completely change the article.
