My Postlinks Review – 151 Articles Submitted For Free

I have to admit that I am really liking Postlinks.  I was able to submit 151 articles to established blogs ranking from 1 to 5 in page rank.

I used all 1,000 free credits that they offered, and the process was super simple.  Here are some tips that I used that really worked to help my blog rank better in the search engines.

I currently have a diet blog that I used in this experiment with Postlinks.  I had about 3 to 4 keywords on the front page of Google, and after posting 151 articles to their blog network, I now have about 12 – 15 keywords on the first page of Google.

To make the process simple, I used The Best Spinner to create the articles.  You are able to add two backlinks with your keywords in them per article, so I ended up with 302 total free backlinks.

I chose about 1/3 of my articles to be posted on higher PR blogs (PR 4 and 5), 1/3 to mid range PR blogs (PR 2 and 3), and about 1/3 to Pr 1 blogs.   For a free trial service with 1,000 free credits, this offer was stellar.

How To Drive Traffic To Your Blog With RSS Feeds

RSS is short for Really Simple Syndication and is a method of taking content and distributing it out to multiple sites. Originally it was primarily aimed at newsfeeds and providing content from news sites to other sites.

As have many other technologies, it has been acquired by Internet Marketers as it is wonderful for promoting websites. It permits you to syndicate your content to hundreds of other websites at a click of a button, which in turn will boost your web site in the search engine results.

You must be able to create an RSS feed from your website to be able to use RSS syndication. WordPress provides one of the most effective ways to create an RSS feed as it is a fundamental part of the software. It is possible to make a static HTML site into an RSS feed. This usually involves a manual process of some type. However, there are a few websites that will automatically convert HTML to RSS for you.

Once you have an RSS feed you need to find some places to submit it.

There are two kinds of site you want to find.

Firstly you are looking for RSS directories. A quick Google will bring up plenty of directories you can use. There is software available you can buy which will automate the submission for you.

Once you have established your directories you want to submit your RSS feeds to them. This can be outsourced as it does take some time. Get your keywords, title and description prepared beforehand.

Each submission can be made unique by using a different description and title. Whereas no one is entirely sure exactly what difference this makes, it does appear to have some effect.
If you are manually submitting RSS feeds then you have to keep track of where you have submitted your RSS feeds. The reason is you don’t want to submit the same site more than once. Plus, you are likely to want to submit other sites in the future.

The second type of site is the RSS Aggregator. This combines multiple RSS feeds into a single feed or webpage. This can be submitted to the RSS directories.

This is useful to mix up your own RSS feeds with those of news sites. You can frequently make more content and/or authority from this.

When using RSS feeds, you must also remember that many Web 2.0 sites such as Squidoo and many article directories have RSS feeds for the pages you design. Submitting these to RSS directories and aggregators will contribute to your search engine rankings.

Your RSS feeds will be updated every time you update your web page. If you are regularly adding new content, you will find it very quickly distributed to lots of web sites.

RSS feeds are a magnificent way to make extra backlinks and to help your sites to rank well. As you use them, watch the extra links build and your rankings (and earnings) increase.
